GROUNDING MACROBIOTIC BOWL

Ingredients :::

1 Cup Cooked Brown Rice (Or Quinoa)

1 Cup Cooked Black Beans, Adzuki Beans, Sprouted lentils or Sprouted mung beans

1 cup of seasonal steamed veggies such as squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, kombucha squash, asparagus

1⁄2 cup steamed or sauteed greens (kale, spinach or collards)

Optional additions: soaked + cooked seaweed, toasted tempeh, gomasio, sprouts, microgreens, avocado, sauerkraut or kimchi 

Method:::

Cook Grain Of Choice, Cook beans, Steam or roast veggies, Slightly Steam or sautee Greens, Add Chicken, Tempeh Or Fish * Optional 

Fill serving Bowl With About 1⁄4-1/2 Cup Of Cooked Rice, 1/4th cup beans, Top With All Of The Above & Serve With “peanut sauce” or miso or tahini dressing 

Sauce Options

Almond Peanut Sauce 

Ingredients :::

4 tbsp. Almond butter (sub Peanut Butter)

2 tbsp. GF Tamari 

Knob of fresh Ginger

2 tbsp. Maple syrup

Pinch or 2 of Sea salt or Maldon Salt 

Juice from 1/2 a Lemon

1 tbsp. Apple cider vinegar 

1 tbsp. sesame oil *optional 

Ginger Tahini Miso Dressing

Ingredients :::   

1/2 cup tahini

3 tablespoon lemon juice

1 small knob of fresh ginger, chopped 

3 tablespoon white miso

1 tablespoon maple syrup

2-4 tablespoon water  

Tahini Maple 

Ingredients ::: 

1/3 cup tahini 

3 tbsp lemon, juiced 

1-2 Tbsp maple syrup /or raw honey 

1 clove garlic - toasted 

3-6 tbsp of water to thin

Pinch of Maldon or Himalayan pink salt 

 

Optional add-ins: tamari, apple cider vinegar, fresh ginger, sesame oil  



Method ::: 

Chop and toast garlic gently in a sautee pan

Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender & blend until smooth
