This tonic should probably be renamed to the fully-loaded tonic. Filled with immune boosting & health promoting medicinal mushrooms and superfoods form a-z, this may be your new favorite winter elixir! Tonics have been part of my daily routine for the past couple of years and for all the right reasons. They are deeply detoxifying, promote healing, and full body restoration. Plus, the boost the immune system, libido and double as an internal beauty remedy. Today, Sima, from House of Citrine shares her current go to tonic with all of her local favorites. Enjoy it!
Sima's Morning Tonic:
4 oz Water (bring to a delicate boil)
½ tsp Sun Potion Pine Pollen
½ tsp Sun Potion He Shou Wu
Pinch Pink Himalayan Finely Ground Salt
Pinch Sun Potion Tocos
Whisk all together with a handheld milk frother. (Personally, I use Tudeau’s Milk Frother).
Milk: May use any milk you are comfortable with. I recommend using sproutedhomemade nut milks.
Sip this nutrient rich tonic while centering yourself and setting forth your daily intent.
The tonic can be used as a breakfast replacement or used in conjunction with a nutrient based meal. The mushrooms in the tonic are fairly dense and tend to satiate my appetite until lunch time.
Notice how your body feels each day. I have noticed an increase in energy, a calm yet sharp intuitive mind, and a suppressed appetite. I have also noticed my uplifted mood is sustained and maintained throughout the day. It is definitely a clarity and mood boosting tonic.
